The first thing asked for during a restore operation is the file you want to restore from. The data contained in that file will determine what you will be prompted for next.

If the file specified contains...

·a full backup, it will only prompt you to confirm that if you do restore a full backup, then you will loose all of your current data because it will be replaced by the data in the backup file.

·a set of RapidRemarks, you will be prompted to confirm the restoration of the RapidRemarks in the file. Note that this only merges the RapidRemarks with your current set, it does not replace them. Note however, if it finds a duplicate, it will prompt you about whether to replace it with the one being restored, or skipping it (retaining the existing RapidRemark).

·individual reports, you will be prompted as follows:

Click on the report you want to restore. Hold down the CTRL key to select additional reports. When you have selected all the reports that you need restored, click
Next. You will then be prompted to confirm the restore operation.

·individual report/work views, you will be prompted as follows:

Select the views you would like to have restored, then click
Next. Note: you cannot restore just a work view. Choosing a work view will automatically select the corresponding report view.
